Royal Empire Children's Books exists because children need more than entertaining characters.
They need stories that help them understand:

Royal Empire Children's Books centers diverse Black children and families while showing a variety of personalities, interests, appearances, learning styles, and household structures.
Every household in Crown Hill is treated with dignity.
Families may include:
- Two-parent households
- Single-parent households
- Grandparents raising children
- Older siblings serving as guardians
- Other loving and stable family structures
No child is defined by what their household does not have.
Each child is defined by who they are, how they are loved, and who they are becoming.

Our Long-Term Vision
Our vision is to build a trusted children's reading destination that grows with families.
The Core Six will begin as young children and may eventually grow through early-reader, middle-school, and teenage stories.
The lessons will become deeper as the children mature, but the foundation will remain the same:
